Tumbleweeds be gone!

tumbleweed-through-ghost-town

I know this is what it’s ¬†seemed like over the last six months. . . I wasn’t sure I would be back to this blog, though I thought of it often, especially when I finally withdrew from social media on the internet for good (or 2015. . . we’ll see how I feel at the end of the year). As it often does, life got in the way, though I still felt that blogging urge. Of course, I didn’t know what I wanted to blog about, other than books mostly.

I love books, remember?

But books are not the only thing in my life. For example, lately I’ve been enjoying learning all about playing the ukulele. I’ve been trying to reignite the joy that can be found in housework (yes, it can be found, but it takes some commitment). I’ve been doing some vegetable gardening. I’ve been exploring my spirituality (again. I do this often).

But above everything I’ve still been reading books.

I’ve been trying to decide what I wanted my blog to be about, and I’ve realized this book was it. I want to slowly add some of the other stuff I’ve been doing and working on, but mostly, I just want to give you my opinion of books, and share my favorite hobby with you.

So I hope you didn’t wander too ¬†far, and I hope you don’t mind once again joining me in my one minute book reviews. . .
